since i had these saved, thought you guys might like to see a step by step for this cover.
i was actually super proud with the rendering on the back, a little bummed it doesnt really show through with the tattoo on it haha. but hey, its all about the final product.
Looks like the other Spidey suit didn’t forget to indicate where the crotch thus lies. :P
In all honesty, I love the new suit. The visual performance of bright colors and retro yet sleek design of a, what I would call, a “Sam Raimi reboot” suit, sending me back to the nostalgia that is the 2003 “Spider-Man”. However, I think the only head scratcher for me is just that; it may look too similar to the Sam Raimi version. But honestly, that’s little to complain about, seeing as how I loved the suit from the original so seeing it again isn’t a great big deal.
The last film (not sitting with everyone’s good side unfortunately) was alright in my book and seeing what will happen with Norman Osbourn’s character arc in the new installment will be interesting, as well as the introduction of Mary Jane… here’s hoping Gwen won’t die in the sequel. Can’t wait for Amazing Spider-man 2.
“I’m the nightmare you dreamt and forgot……”
Yeah, Paul Pope is pretty awesome.
I didn’t realize until while ago that Batman: Year 100 was available on iBooks, so that was instant buy. Too bad reading comics on iBooks isn’t as intuitive as comixology ‘s app.
