For a guy that isn't that social, sure loves these social networks.
I’ve decided to give Splinter Cell: Blacklist a go on the WiiU and can’t say that enjoyed it. My problem stems from the controls: I’m not sure its the game itself or the WiiU controller. It has been ten months and I’m still not use to either the pro controller or gamepad. If only the thumb stick was set lower on the controller like the xbox 360/ps3. I feel that I’m trying really remember where all the buttons are mapped to; especially with the gamepad itself. Now if only some third party peripheral manufacture would make a pro controller that was mapped like the Xbox 360 controller.
I had some time to think about the 2DS as well. Its just one of those times I was wondering; this doesn’t thing doesn’t look for me, why does Nintendo want me to buy it. Plus he’s right about which age group it’s for; my nephew had Game Boy SP and DS when he was 5 years old. He just ruined the hell out of those hinges and the screen was just loose. Plus making the system more affordable will get it into more young kids hands considering at the lowest starting price of an decent tablet or iPad is around $200 to $350. Although they still have to complete with the price of games. However I’m still bummed about the second thumb not being a part of the system. That just means that I’ll have to import the 3DS XL thumb stick from Japan because it’s not available in North America just yet. As for the 3D, what about games that have essential 3D functions? There are games like Super Mario 3D land where you need to turn on the 3D to navigate some of the levels. For me its kind of baffling and weird for Nintendo to remove annoying but if not some what important feature. Still it was hard to maintain that “Sweet Spot” where the 3D was functional anyways on handheld. Either way this thing isn’t for me and won’t be replacing my 3DS XL anytime soon.
